BlackPink concert tickets are being sold widely, BTC acts unexpectedly

Ticketbox – the unit that sells tickets for two nights of BlackPink music in Hanoi has announced to stop selling tickets after a week of opening for sale.

The reason given by this unit is to ensure the interests of the audience when there is a lot of information on ticket sales and redemption of tickets at different prices on social networks.

“In order to ensure the best service to the audience, the organizers (BTC) would like to announce that they will stop selling tickets for the BlackPink World Tour Born Pink Hanoi concert,” Ticketbox announced.

BTC asserts that there is only one ticket sales channel, buying tickets outside the above system contains risks of fake tickets and disputes. BTC is not responsible for these transactions.

A day earlier, the audience could not access the ticket purchase section on the official ticketing website. After a few hours, the ticketing section on the website was changed to “Maintenance”.

Immediately after opening for sale on July 7, all VIP tickets for 7 days of BlackPink concert were sold out. Ticket classes such as Cat 2, Cat 1 and Platinum worth from VND 2-5,8 million are still on sale. Particularly for cheap tickets such as 7,8 million dong, 1,2 million dong, and 1,8 million dong, they have also been sold out.

As noted by the Traffic Newspaper, the BlackPink concert ticket transfer market was bustling on social networks (black market) right after the day BTC opened for ticket sales on the official website.

On groups about BlackPink concerts in Hanoi, many accounts update articles offering to resell tickets at the original price or suffer a loss of several hundred thousand to 1-2 million dong for many reasons such as: finding a better ticket, accidentally buying a surplus, busy with work or wanting to move to another day…

Even tickets are offered for sale on e-commerce platforms; Many traders are willing to sell at a loss, selling at a lower price than the purchase price to quickly return the amount of capital spent, but the consumption rate is quite slow.

BlackPink’s Born Pink concert will take place on July 29 and 30 at My Dinh Stadium, Hanoi. Tickets for the show are officially open for sale in two phases, including: the first phase is open for sale at 7:12 on July 7 for the night of July 7; The second phase is open for sale at 29pm on 7/14 for the show on July 7th.

Both ticket sales sessions recorded overcrowding when hundreds of thousands of people visited the official ticketing website at the same time.

In the first opening session, the ticketing system quickly “collapsed” and the message “Error_general_message” appeared. After more than 10 minutes, people can access again, but have to wait in line to wait online.

There are cases where you have to receive waiting numbers for more than 100.000 people. At that time, on Ticketbox’s fan page, the posts received thousands of interactions, including a large amount of “outraged” emotions.
