The prolific quarterback and receiver combos and the supremely efficient Kansas O-line weren’t the only reasons. Brittany Mahomes was carrying her own luck with her. And it seemed to have worked for the Chiefs.
Patrick’s wife saw the Super Bowl journey coming from a long way. In fact, Brittany had made her game-day outfit purchase back when she was still pregnant with Bronze, the couple’s newborn son. The NFL world reacted to her red pantsuit outfit.

Patrick and the Chiefs surely needed the luck on Sunday. The Philadelphia Eagles were no pushovers and put up an excellent battle for the Lombardi. The Chiefs edged past 38-35 with a Harrison Butker field goal deciding the outcome in the dying seconds. And of course, there was the high ankle sprain injury for Patrick.
However, nothing could keep No 15 out of the game. And Brittany made sure that he had all the ammunition. “Bought this outfit to wear to the Super Bowl while I was pregnant. Glad it fit & Knew we were going to be here,” the mother of two posted on her Instagram. She also had photos with her daughter Sterling Skye Mahomes in the post.
Brittany’s fans and the entire Chiefs Kingdom rode in with cheers and support in the comment section. “Perfect outfit, you looked stunning,” SpearmintLOVE apparels commented. Chiefs OT Orlando Brown Jr.’s partner Holly Luyah wrote, “My girls.” “Best NFL wife,” one fan commented. And another wrote, “Chiefs 1st lady.” “Love your confidence, you’re as die hard as us,” one fan noted.
Brittany has other things working the luck as well
The former soccer star’s red outfit for Super Bowl LVII also received some negative reactions owing to the orange highlights in the color. “You got orange ’cause it should have been Joe Burrow,” one possible Bengals fan observed. “Modesty died on this post,” another Chief hater replied.

However, Brittany could care less about the orange in her outfit. She was carrying more luck. And some of it was with Patrick Mahomes. The quarterback’s wife had once revealed how she bought lucky Lululemon game-day underwear for Patrick. And No 15 and his lucky briefs are inseparable.

However, that’s not all. Brittany also has seat No 15 reserved for herself in away games and dresses up her dog, Steel, in Chiefs’ red before the game. Well, guess the superstitions worked. Patrick has detailed Brittany’s contributions to his success, especially after having Bronze. And Brittany has surely been the ’12th-man’ on the Chiefs’ roster, motivating and making things easier throughout.
