2024 is already looking like it’s going to be a HUGE year for live music… here are just some of the highlights, as picked by Radio X, from Foo Fighters to Liam Gallagher and more.
The old year may only just be giving way to the new, but the gig calendar for 2024 is already looking pretty full.
The homecoming show seems to be a theme for ’24, with Richard Ashcroft and The Lathums playing Wigan, Blossoms playing Wythenshawe Park and Kasabian headlining a massive show in their old manor of Leicester.
Meanwhile, major festivals like Glastonbury and Reading/Leeds are expected to showcase line-ups featuring a mix of iconic legends and cutting-edge talents.

After their “surprise” appearance at Glastonbury in June, the Foos will make a return to the UK for their first shows here since the death of drummer Taylor Hawkins.
