Currently, there aren’t many lounge options at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International (FLL). In fact, there are currently just 3: a United Club in Terminal 1, a Delta Sky Club in Terminal 2, and a Priority Pass restaurant (Kafe Kalik) in Terminal 4.
Since those with The Platinum Card® from American Express don’t have access to Priority Pass restaurants, the only lounge option for holders of the Amex Platinum card is the Delta Sky Club — but you’ll only get in if you’re flying Delta on the same day.
Otherwise, you’re out of luck — but that’s soon going to change!
FLL’s New Outpost From Escape Lounges – The Centurion Studio Partner
While the exact opening date hasn’t been announced yet, a new Escape Lounge is expected to open its doors soon in Fort Lauderdale’s Terminal 3, with construction underway.
The 5,000+ square-foot lounge will offer hot and cold chef-curated food, premium alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, power outlets, high-speed Wi-Fi, up-to-the-second flight information, and more. These offerings are similar to what you’d find in other Escape Lounges.
Although the lounge will be located in Terminal 3, passengers departing from Terminal 4 will also be able to access the space via the connector walkway between the 2 terminals.

How To Access the Lounge
The easiest way to access Escape Lounges – The Centurion Studio Partner for free is by having the right credit card. Specifically, you’ll receive complimentary access for holding one of the following cards:
- Amex Platinum card
- The Business Platinum Card® from American Express
- Centurion® Card from American Express
- Delta SkyMiles® Reserve American Express Card (when you book your Delta flight with your card)
- Delta SkyMiles® Reserve Business American Express Card (when you book your Delta flight with your card)
Further, cardmembers of any of the above cards are able to bring 2 guests inside the lounge with them for no additional charge until 2023.
Even if you don’t have one of the cards listed above, you can still visit the lounge once it’s open. You can pay $45 at the door or $40 if you book in advance on the Escape Lounges – The Centurion Studio Partner website.

Final Thoughts
This is certainly a welcome addition for those who tend to fly in or out of FLL when visiting South Florida. Once the lounge opens, those with the Amex Platinum card and Amex Business Platinum card will have a lounge they can access at the airport no matter what airline they’re flying with.
