Another day, another chapter in the saga of Cardinals QB Kyler Murray.

After scrubbing the team from his social media page in recent weeks and multiple reports the QB is unhappy in Arizona, Murray’s agent Erik Burkhardt released a letter early Monday morning to anyone who would listen.

This one bring up memories of Cleveland Cavaliers owner penning a letter about LeBron James in Comic Sans.

Burkhardt says Murray “absolutely wants to be (Arizona’s) long term QB” and “desperately wants to win the Super Bowl,” but then goes sideways, as the letter has a list of demands Murray is seeking to remain the Cardinals’ QB.

Murray wants more money, the addition of more free agents and a “real commitment” from the organization to see if their goals align. The letter is written in all caps locks and has random sentences in bold.

The first and most obvious question is why?

Why go public with this nonsense, leaking it to the NFL’s biggest insider at 6:40 a.m. on a Monday morning? Why air dirty laundry to the world when these conversations could easily be had behind closed doors? None of this approach does anything to dispel the notion that Murray is immature and surrounded by drama.

Murray’s immaturity issues go back to college at his first school, Texas A&M, with then head coach Kevlin Sumlin. Then there was his infamous interview with Dan Patrick in 2019, which is difficult to watch.

Combine all this with the fact that Murray reportedly asked out of the team’s embarrassing playoff loss to the Rams, and the red flags appear to be there of a guy who just doesn’t quite “get it” right now, despite some undeniable talent.

At this point, the Denver Broncos would be very wise to avoid Murray. There’s just too many issues to mortgage the future by giving up multiple draft picks to acquire him. Russell Wilson remains the only guy worth doing that for, with Aaron Rodgers in the mix as well.

But Murray? He can keep his CAPS LOCK letters in the desert. Denver doesn’t need that kind of drama right now.
