LOVE Island’s biggest emotional blow up between Anna Vakili and boyfriend Jordan Hames has led to multiple complaints from viewers.
The ITV2 reality show received 61 complaints about last night’s episode which saw the couple steaming at each other.
The concern comes after the heated row between the formerly-loved-up pair as 29-year-old Anna confronted the male model about his indiscretions.
Viewers were left gobsmacked last night as Jordan, 24, revealed to Curtis Pritchard that he was interested in glamour model India, just days after asking Anna to be his girlfriend.
But it wasn’t all one-sided and in favour of the pharmacist – there was a fairly even split of complaints about Jordan’s behaviour towards Anna – and the behaviour of the other contestants towards player Jordan.
An Ofcom spokesperson said: “We will assess these complaints against our broadcasting rules but are yet to decide whether or not to investigate.”
It’s not the first time the iconic villa has received complaints this series.
Since it began on 3 June, Love Island 2019 has received nearly 1,500 complaints.
More than 140 complaints by viewers made to Ofcom were about firefighter Michael Griffiths while others were concerned about the treatment of Lucie Donlan by her then-love interest Joe Garratt.
The majority of complaints by the public deem the Islanders behaviour “unacceptable”.
But the complaints haven’t deterred Anna’s sister Mandi from wading in on the row.
She raged about the treatment of her sister on Instagram and commented: “I can’t even f***ing believe that this 23-year-old f***ing Shrek lookalike has been playing a game with Anna this whole f***ing time.”
Mandi continued: “You’ve been playing a game, number one, like he has been f***ing faking it this whole time to get to the finals, and also this is why he hasn’t had a relationship, because you have no f***ing feelings.
“You’re a cold-hearted p***k who doesn’t take someone’s feelings into consideration.”
Laying into the model’s gappy teeth, she continued: “He’s been lying through the gaps in his f***ing teeth this whole time.
“Literally that’s where he’s been hiding all his feelings, in them gaps… now it makes sense why they’re there.”
Former Strictly dancer James Jordan isn’t a fan of Kim Kardashian lookalike Anna.
He got on social media and wrote: “Jordan definitely handled everything badly however doesn’t change the fact that Anna is not a nice girl,” and to ‘get out while he can’.
