Jennifer Lawrence has set the record straight regarding a rumoured affair with Hunger Games co-star Liam Hemsworth.
Rumours surfaced after the Australian actor’s ex Miley Cyrus appeared to hint at a Lawrence-Hemsworth affair in her song Flowers.

She was seen in the video wearing a gold dress, very similar to the gown worn by Lawrence at the premiere of the first Hunger Games movie.
Appearing on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, the star was grilled on whether the affair took place.
“Not true,” the Hunger Games star insisted.
“Total rumour. We all know we only kissed one time, and it was years after they broke up, so I just assumed that (the dress) was a coincidence.”
In 2015 Lawrence told Cohen that she shared an off-screen kiss with her co-star — but gave no indication of when.
“Liam and I grew up together. Liam’s real hot. What would you have done?” she said.
‘It’s really upsetting’
Lawrence also said this week that she was affected by the affair reports that swept the internet following the music video’s release in January 2023.
“If five people at a party think you slept with somebody’s boyfriend, it’s really upsetting,” she said.
“And then you multiply it by — I’m not good at the math — eight billion.”
Hemsworth and Lawrence filmed the four-movie franchise of The Hunger Games between 2012 and 2015.
Throughout this time, Hemsworth was in an on-again-off-again relationship with pop star Cyrus.
Many interpreted Flowers as a dig at Hemsworth.
The song was released on Hemsworth’s 33rd birthday and samples Bruno Mars’ song When I Was Your Man — a song Hemsworth reportedly dedicated to Cyrus.
Hemsworth and Cyrus were married for only eight months from December 2018, but had been an on-off couple for a decade.
Their divorce was finalised in January 2020.
