How to watch Tom Brady's Patriots halftime ceremony: Time, TV channel, live stream for Week 1 return

New England, your king is coming home.

Tom Brady is set to make his first return to Foxboro this week since retiring officially from football in April, as the Patriots will be honoring the quarterback with a halftime ceremony during their Week 1 contest against the Eagles.

Brady spent two decades in New England, accumulating six Super Bowl rings, nine conference championships and 16 division titles during his time with the Pats. He smashed record after record, bringing years of sustained success to the region. Now, fans will get to properly thank the GOAT for his storied career.

“I had two decades of incredible life-altering experiences. I have so many memories from my time there,” Brady said. “I’m creating a new memory with the people there and to go back to that stadium and bring my kids and my family in a different way, you know. I haven’t been to that stadium in this way ever. I went there as a player. I went once as a competitor and now I’m going to go there as a fan. I will be there in the future as a broadcaster.”

It’s unclear what the ceremony will actually consist of, as the organization has purposely kept the details of the event private. But you can expect a plethora of Patriots legends to be at Gillette Stadium to partake in the Brady festivities.

“I look forward to seeing him, and I’m sure there will be a lot of excitement at the game, in the stands, as there should be,” Patriots coach Belichick said. “I always look forward to seeing Tom. What a great experience and opportunity it was for me to coach him. I have a tremendous appreciation for what he did for our team and everything he gave us.”
