It’s almost time for the Owenses to move into their brand-new marital home. Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles took to Instagram to share photos and video footage of the still-under-construction abode she and her husband, Green Bay Packers safety Jonathon Owens, will be moving into once the Houston digs are complete. Biles has chosen to keep her fans and followers in the loop about the full home building journey with dispatches on the process shared via social media ever since the pair was standing on the bare plot of land.

The tour she shared Monday begins with a shot of a section of the home’s façade enveloped in protective house wrap, captioned “tiles are in!!!!!!!”

The next shot in the sequence shows what looks to be a double-height room on the ground level with concrete floors and the home’s exposed wood frame surrounding. Sliding doors are featured throughout. The following photo shows a close-up of the doors, which reveal a bit of grass and a body of water (a large pond or small lake, perhaps?) situated right outside the home. It seems safe to assume this space in the dwelling will become one of Biles’s most cherished places to lounge, as she notes “this is my favorite shot” with a caption punctuated by the heart-eyes and sunrise (or sunset—depending on how you see it) emojis.

Biles concludes the update with a look at the hallway captioned, “can’t decide if this is the hallway of my dreams or the ones that are in my nightmares lmao.” This summer, Biles walked viewers through a section of the abode’s upper level, which will feature a bedroom, bathroom, a theater, and a game room complete with a wet bar. She also shows the making of covered and uncovered upper-level balconies with sweeping views of the body of water below.

Biles and Owens started dating in 2020 and officially tied the knot this spring at a simple county courthouse ceremony in Houston. The following month, the athletic pair said their vows again in grander fashion at a full-on 140-person bash in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
