Aaron Rodgers is widely regarded as one of the best quarterbacks to grace the NFL. However, the Super Bowl winner has had a complicated relationship with his family for quite a while.

Despite years of bitterness, Rodgers, who signed for the New York Jets this offseason, has revealed that he is open to a reconciliation with his estranged family.

In Nov. 2022, Aaron Rodgers appeared on “The Aubrey Marcus Podcast” and delved into a number of topics. He primarily discussed his use of ayahuasca, a psychoactive tea, and how the experience spurred him on to have back-to-back MVP seasons during his time with the Green Bay Packers.

Rodgers also spoke about his estranged family and how he’d be open to mending fences after a public feud.

Rodgers had a falling out with his family back in 2016 when his brother, Jordan, appeared on “The Bachelorette” and spilled the beans about their fractured relationship.

“Us Weekly” then reported that the former Packers quarterback didn’t attend Jordan’s nuptials back in May 2022.

Despite Aaron Rodgers looking to mend fences off the field, there’s still a reported rift that continues to loom around his relationship with his family.

Aaron Rodgers injury: When will the Jets QB return?

Aaron Rodgers joined the New York Jets this offseason after playing 18 years with the Green Bay Packers. However, the quarterback suffered an unfortunate against the Buffalo Bills in Week 1 of the 2023 season.

Rodgers tore his left Achilles tendon on just his fourth play as the Jets signal caller. Initial reports claimed that the 39-year-old was ruled out for the rest of the season. However, Rodgers reportedly underwent a “speed bridge” surgery which could see the signal-caller return to the Jets lineup by mid-January, in time for the playoffs.

Robert Saleh’s side has a long way to go before thinking of reaching the postseason. His New York team is currently third in the AFC East with a 3-3 record heading into Week 8.

However, potentially having Rodgers in their armory for the playoffs could be a massive boost for the Jets in their pursuit of a postseason berth.
