Aaron Rodgers has been voted the NFL’s Most Valuable Player the past two seasons, his talent is undoubtedly one of the greatest in NFL history, however, he is also undoubtedly having the worst time of his career with the Green Bay Packers.

Rodgers’ arrogant attitudes were tolerated when he was winning, however, his lack of leadership has been harshly criticized by people outside the Packers organization, it has also been reported that he is not necessarily the most liked person in the Green Bay locker room, however, now there is a former teammate of A-Rod’s who has openly turned against him.

Such is the case with one of the best receivers in Rodgers’ career, Greg Jennings, who was arguably his greatest partner when he was voted MVP of Super Bowl XLV when Green Bay defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers in Arlington, Texas.

Greg Jennings vs. Aaron Rodgers

Jennings was asked on the most recent episode of “The Carton Show” about whether it was possible that Packers head coach Matt LaFleur might consider benching Rodgers and putting Jordan Love, his current backup, in his place.

“Of course,” Jennings said. “Sooner rather than later. Look at their schedule. In the next three games, you’ve got the Cowboys coming in this week, you’ve got the Titans coming in a few days later, and then you’ve got to go to Philly to face the Eagles. I believe, if they lose two out of these three games, which they could lose all three, it’s done. You’ve got to see what Jordan Love can do. You’ve got to give him an opportunity.”

LeRoy Butler vs. Aaron Rodgers

Along those same lines was Hall of Fame safety LeRoy Butler, who also said it was possible in one particular scenario.

“After that point, if you’ve lost those games, you’ve got to get Jordan Love in there at some point, because there’s no playoffs,” Butler said. “I mean, there’s no playoffs, you’re not in the playoffs. You have to find out at some point can Jordan Love play because you can’t get rid of Aaron Rodgers because of his contract. But you can find a way to get Jordan Love some work to just kind of find out what you’re going to have in a few years.”
