He made his television debut in 2018 after being a standout performer at the 2017 NFL Broadcast Boot Camp. Tori made his international debut as a sports analyst in London with Sky Network in December 2018 as an ambassador for the NFL.

He declared for the NFL Draft in 2011 and made the Green Bay Packers team as an Undrafted Free Agent. During this time, not only was he playing in the NFL but he was also handling unfinished business in college. For six off-seasons he enrolled back into the University of South Carolina to complete his Bachelor degree in Psychology while playing professional football.

Adversity has not kept Tori from achieving his dreams of playing football professionally. He was signed to the practice squads for Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Oakland Raiders, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, San Diego Chargers, Cleveland Browns and the Buffalo Bills.

On June 3, 2015, he signed with the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League and finished the 2015 CFL season with 793 yards on 58 receptions and was the league leader in touchdown receptions (with 10 TDs). In his second season in the CFL Gurley played in 10 of the Argos first 14 games and three days after being released by Toronto, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers announced the signing of Gurley, where he played two games to close out the 2016 season. In 2017, Tori officially retired from football after leading the Canadian Football League in touchdown receptions in 2016. Gurley played five years in the NFL and two years in CFL.

Tori also serves as board member of the Charlotte Gamecock Club and is a board member of the NFLPA. He is a professional speaker and has spoken to over 40,000 students within a year. His goal is to encourage and inspire our future leaders of tomorrow.

He played college football at South Carolina, where he helped lead the Gamecocks to their first SEC East title and first SEC championship game appearance in 2010. He is from Rock Hill, South Carolina and attended Rock Hill High where he led the Bearcats to state championships in football and basketball as a senior. Through 2010 and 12 games, his career statistics at South Carolina were 824 receiving yards with six touchdowns and 70 receptions. In Tori’s last season for the Gamecocks, he set a school record for having no dropped passes during the 2010 season.
