Did Ariana Grande shave her head in 2023?

No, Ariana Grande hasn’t shaved her head. However, the singer is seen with her hair pulled back completely in her latest TikTok, which gives a bald illusion.

Moreover, she has bleached hair and eyebrow blonde for her role as Gilda in Wicked, so it’s harder to spot the hair on her head in the new TikTok unless you look closely.

Ariana’s natural hair is dark brown and she has always carried long hair tied in her signature style. The changed appearance is only temporary.

Therefore, it’s safe to say that the singer isn’t bald as some have assumed.

She has been vocal about hair problems

Ariana has publicly addressed her issues with hair fall and damage in the past.

She shared a post on her official Facebook page in 2014, explaining the reason behind her signature ponytail. Apparently, Ariana had to dye her hair red after bleaching it every other week when she was playing the role of Cat on the Nickelodeon sitcom.

She said: “I had to bleach my hair and dye it red every other week for the first 4 years of playing Cat… as one would assume, that completely destroyed my hair. I now wear a wig on Sam & Cat.”

Ariana has been using extensions for years as wigs didn’t suit her. She always attaches them to a ponytail because her real hair is broken and doesn’t look when let down naturally.

She concluded the post by requesting fans to not come after her hair as “there are way way way more important things.”

Singer shuts down body shaming trolls

Ariana has shut down body shaming trolls in her latest TikTok as some of them have taken the liberty to talk about her body in the past while comparing it with her current look.

The singer urged her followers to refrain from commenting on other people’s bodies regardless of the intention.

Addressing people’s unsolicited opinions about her health, she added:

“I know personally, for me, the body that you’ve been comparing my current body to was the unhealthiest version of my body. I was on a lot of antidepressants and drinking on them and eating poorly, and at the lowest point of my life when I looked the way you consider me ‘healthy.’ But that, in fact, wasn’t my ‘healthy’.“
