Overview: Actively scientific exchange is one of the critical factors for the success of scientists from their early education to throughout their career. Within Vietnam, there are limited opportunities for research funding and qualified scientific conferences for young researchers to update with state-of-the-art technologies and advanced discoveries. With the aim to promote active and professional scientific exchanges among biological researchers, we have formed a network of young biologists via a series of meetings at International Center for Interdisciplinary Science and Education (ICISE), Quy Nhon, Binh Dinh since 2017. Remarkably, the 5th Rencontres de Quy Nhon: International Biology Conference 2022 was extended globally with 380 scientists from 17 countries.
With the success of previous Biology Conferences and in order to encourage the scientific exchanges and collaborations among young scientists in the life science sectors, the Organizing Committee decided to organize “The 6th Rencontres de Quy Nhon: International Biology Conference 2023” (BIO2023 Quy Nhon) from September 20-22, 2023 at ICISE, Quy Nhon, Binh Dinh, Vietnam.
Conference Themes:
In 2023, the BIO2023 Quy Nhon will focus on the general themes “From Connections to Collaborations” in different sectors of life sciences with the following topics:
– Fundamental and applied researches in the field of plant biotechnology
– The diversity and importance of microbiology in addressing current global challenges, such as food security, environmental sustainability, and health.
– Application of advantages from OMICS, big data analysis and artificial intelligence in improvement of human healthcare, food safety, and environment.
There will be 4 concurrent sessions, respectively.

3. Human Biology 2. Microbiology
4. Animal Biology
Conference format: The conference will use a range of formats: Keynote speaker presentations in the plenary session, poster exhibitions, oral presentations in the parallel sessions, exhibitions and training courses from private companies and enterprises operating in the fields of Biology, Medicine and Pharmacy, Agriculture and Environment open roundtable discussions. The excursions will also be offered to raise the opportunity for all participants to visit the beautiful places around Quy Nhon city and to make further networking in nature.
Meeting duration: Three-day program, 20th – 22th September 2023 (From Wed to Fri).
Day 1 (Wed, 20 September 2022): The thematic presentations reflecting the current achievements in science on difference topics, including Plant Biology, Microbiology, Animal Biology, and Human Biology will be selected and presented by invited national and international keynote speakers and selected registering scientist/presenters.
Day 2 (Thu, 21 September 2023): Continuing with the thematic presentations from delegates to address current achievements of their scientific activities on difference topics of the conference. The thematic open round-table discussions will provide a platform for exchange the practical issues related to the presenting themes and beyond such as the policies and opportunities to develop potential multifaceted collaborations. By the end of the Day 2, an outdoor gala party at the back yard of the ICISE will be organized to celebrate the five-year milestone of the conference.
Day 3 (Fri, 22 September 2023): The poster presentation, thematic exhibitions on essential high-end equipment, cutting-edge scientific tools, and techniques in Biotechnology. Afterward, the Summary and Closing session of the conference will be the final session.
The second half of day 3 will be denoted for an excursion around Quy Nhon city and outdoor activities to promote informal scientific communications and networking to bond scientists together.

Conference documentation: Conference program, registration information, and form are available on the conference website. The Abstract Proceedings and other documents will be handed in at the registration for the conference.
Conference Fees: The admission, registration, conference documents, and meals during the conference time will be fully covered for all participants with selected abstracts of Oral and/or Poster presentations. The roundtrips from Quy Nhon city to the Conference center will be freely arranged for all participants. Please note that the costs for hotel stays and travel of participants will not be covered by conference organizing committee.
