Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) blasted New York City Mayor Eric Adams as “delusional” Monday and accused him of trying to “intimidate” her after he warned the far-right lawmaker to “be on your best behavior” while protesting the indictment of former President Donald Trump.

“Delusional [Eric Adams] is trying to intimidate, threaten, and stop me from using my 1st [A]mendment rights to peacefully protest the Democrat’s unconstitutional weaponization of our justice system against our top Republican Presidential candidate, President Trump,” Greene wrote in a tweet.

“Mayor Adams should be more concerned about NY citizens and taxpayers being murdered, raped, robbed, and carjacked than an elected Member of Congress coming to town,” Greene added.

“Or should I be the one concerned that the mayor of NYC will weaponize his government or maybe his thugs like DA Alvin Bragg against me?”

Greene and the New York Young Republican Club are hosting a rally for the embattled former president at Collect Pond Park Tuesday morning, just steps from the Manhattan courthouse where Trump will be arraigned by Judge Juan Merchan that afternoon.

On Monday, Adams warned potential protesters thinking about demonstrating against Trump’s arraignment to “control yourselves.”

“This city is our home, not a playground for your misplaced anger,” he told reporters, trying to get the message across to potential pro-Trump protesters.

“Although we have no specific threats, people like Marjorie Taylor Greene, who is known to spread misinformation and hate speech, as she stated she’s coming to town, while you’re in town, be on your best behavior,” Hizzoner went on, singling out the Georgia Republican.

In another tweet on Monday, Greene ripped the NYC mayor over his “Pro drug policy” and accused him of helping “drug addicts kill themselves.”

“In Mayor Eric Adams City of New York, an average of 8 people overdose on drugs every single day because of his PRO drug policy,“ Greene wrote.

“He wants more drug use centers stocked with syringes, straws for snorting, and other drug paraphernalia to help NY’s poor drug addicts kill themselves,” she continued.

“Drug overdoses account for 80 to 85% of accidental deaths in New York City. That’s a fatal overdose every 3 hours! And now Mayor Adams is threatening me. Unbelievable,” she wrote.

Adams noted on Monday that there are no “specific, credible threats” to the public on the eve of Trump’s arraignment.

The former president is expected to travel back to Mar-a-Lago Tuesday evening and give remarks at 8:15 p.m.
