Late in the regular season, the Texas Tech alum was selected as a starter for the AFC Conference in the Super Bowl, but he and other Kansas City Chiefs players won’t be playing in the Pro Bowl.

This Pro Bowl selection is the fifth of Mahomes’ illustrious career, and he is a betting favorite to win the NFL MVP Award for the second time. Trevor Lawrence of the Jacksonville Jaguars has been selected to replace Mahomes in the Pro Bowl, giving the Clemson University legend the first Pro Bowl appearance of his young career.
