A vicious rumour about an alleged unborn child of Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber has been circulating online. The cruel allegation surfaced a few years ago but has emerged again.

The rumour started after an article claimed Justin spoke at a Bible study group about this child and alleged Hollywood elites killed them.

HITC has looked into the fabricated reports to fact-check them after the claims over Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez’s unborn child resurfaced.

Here is everything you need to know about the legitimacy of the article, and Justin’s relationships with Selena and current wife Hailey Bieber.

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez’s child claims debunked

An article claiming that Justin Bieber told “hundreds” of people at a Bible study class that Hollywood elites killed his and Selena Gomez’s unborn child has been circulating online this week.

The article also alleged Justin said these “elites” destroyed his relationship with Selena Gomez “as a way of punishing him”.

However, we can assume that this article on Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez’s child is fake. Google does not show any credible websites containing this information, and news agency Reuters has also deemed the article false in their fact-checking.

The website on which the article originally appeared has been labelled “a Questionable source based on extreme right-wing bias and promotion of tin foil hat conspiracies,” by fact-checking website Media Bias/Fact Check.

Justin and Selena dating history

The relationship continued over the years, although the couple regularly broke up and saw other people. In November 2017 they reconciled before splitting up for good in March 2018.

Several years ago, rumours Selena and Justin were pregnant began to circulate. A source claimed to In Touch magazine: “In 2012, she got pregnant and miscarried Justin’s baby… Nothing in her life has been the same since.”

However, in 2014, Hollywood Life learned from a source close to Selena that this was “100% not true.”

Justin and Hailey Baldwin tied the knot in September 2018 at a courthouse. Although, they held a grand ceremony with friends and family almost a year later in 2019. The wedding took place in South Carolina and Baldwin wore a bespoke Off-White bridal gown designed by Virgil Abloh.

In a February 2019 interview with Vogue, the couple mentioned that they met with a marriage counsellor. Hailey said: “The thing is, marriage is very hard. That is the sentence you should lead with. It’s really effing hard.”

Justin called Hailey “the best wife in the world” in an interview with Zane Lowe two years ago. Justin explained Hailey supports him “through so much” and stated he was “honoured” to be her husband.
