Who Is Khalen Saunders?
Saunders was a defensive tackle and Kelce’s teammate for the Chiefs during their 2022-’23 Super Bowl title run. He is best known as a run-stuffer but also penetrates the opposition’s backfield, garnering a tackle for loss or sack.
Saunders cashed in on being an integral part of Kansas City’s front seven, signing a three-year, $14.5 million contract with the Saints.
Saunders successfully anchors New Orleans’ defensive line, allowing playmakers such as Carl Granderson and Cameron Jordan to come off the edge. He himself has 21 tackles (eight solo) on the season.
