Kyler Murray is a quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals in the NFL. Murray played college football for the Texas A&M Aggies before transferring to the Oklahoma Sooners. In 2018, he won the Heisman Trophy for being the best college football player in the country.
Murray was drafted first overall by the Cardinals in the 2019 NFL Draft, after also being drafted ninth overall by the Oakland Athletics in the 2018 MLB draft. He became the first player ever to be drafted in the first rounds of both sports.

Murray’s $203.5m contract goes viral
Murray finished his rookie season with 3,722 passing yards, 20 passing touchdowns, and 12 interceptions to go along with 544 rushing yards and four rushing touchdowns on 93 carries. He won the AP NFL Offensive Rookie Of The Year award that season too.
His future with the Cardinals looked unclear but in the offseason he signed a five-year, $230.5 million extension. Recently, his contract went viral as it states the Pro Bowler is to ‘complete at least four hours of independent study each week (excluding any bye week) during each playing season (as defined below) during the term of the contract.’

Who are Kyler Murray’s parents? Meet his dad Kevin
Kyler Murray’s parents are Kevin Murray and Misun Henderson. Kevin Murray is a former American football quarterback at Texas A&M University.
Murray was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 11th Round (287th overall) of 1982 MLB Draft and played one season (’82) for their Pikeville rookie league team.
After that, he played football at Texas A&M. The quarterback threw for 6,506 yards and 48 touchdowns during his four seasons with the Aggies.
Murray was a 2nd team All-American twice. However, he went undrafted in the NFL.
Kevin was a free agent with the San Francisco 49ers and the Calgary Stampeders. He eventually retired because of injury.
“He taught me how to throw the ball when I was seven years old,” Kyler said about his dad. “I definitely wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for him teaching me the game of football.”

Kyler Murray’s mom is Misun (Missy) Henderson. She is a proud Korean, born on 25 September 1964. She is actually half-Korean and is the daughter of US Navy officer Msgt Carl W Henderson Sr.
Missy worked as an executive assistant at Skyway Freight Systems in the 1990s. She joined Key Transportations, Services before becoming direct support to vice-president of strategy at Verizon.
Currently, she works for K1 Promotions as general manager.
