Manchester United have arrived at their Los Angeles hotel after a gruelling 12 hour journey.
The Red Devils have jetted to the United States for their pre-season tour, which will see them play matches against the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester City.
United have an added bonus waiting for them upon their arrival Stateside.
£75million signing Romelu Lukaku has undergone his medical with United and will link up with the squad – alongside his pal Paul Pogba – in the coming days.
Lukaku has been enjoying the end of his summer break in LA and he will be going straight to work.
The Belgian striker said his final goodbyes to the Toffees late on Sunday night, thanking fans, coaches and staff for all they’d done for him over the past four years.
United’s US trip follows a week of pre-season training at their Carrington training base.
They left for the States on Sunday before heading for their initial base at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
Mourinho’s side will first face the LA Galaxy next weekend, before games against Real Salt Lake, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Barcelona.
United arrived at Manchester airport in one casual outfit – a zip-up grey hoodie and grey polo shirt – before changing into a different red and black design for the plane.
While Lukaku is yet to be been named in the United tour squad, he is expected to join them after being officially unveiled.
Marcos Rojo travelled with his team-mates, despite being expected to miss the start of the season with his serious knee injury.
Luke Shaw and Ashley Young, celebrating his birthday on Sunday, joined the squad even though they too ended last season on crutches.
Adnan Januzaj has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford and he has moved a step to the exit after not being included in the tour squad.
New signing Victor Lindelof will make his debut for the Red Devils in America.
