The band has been on a hiatus since 2015, but a recent Internet mistake has fueled fan speculation that a reunion tour could be coming. According to the Daily Mail fans of all things 1D are particularly excited after spotting a Ticketmaster link for a One Direction show scheduled on December 31, 2020 at Etihad Stadium in Australia. Bc that’s a strong maybe.” One local resident wasn’t quite as convinced, though, writing, “ok but why would One Direction come all the way here to Australia i’m laughing.”
