  • His mother went to London, to work as a nurse when Pierce was 4 years old. He was raised by his maternal grandparents Philip and Kathleen Smith.
  • After his maternal grandparent’s death, he lived with his uncle and aunt who sent him to a boarding school.
  • At a very young age, he trained in fire-eating and performed the stunt in a circus.
  • When he was 11 years old, he left his hometown and moved to England to live with his mother and her new husband, William Carmichael.
  • Once his step-father, William Carmichael took him to the cinema for the first time to watch James Bond movie, Goldfinger.
