Todd Jerome Gurley II was a running back in the National Football League. Todd played 6 seasons for the L.A Rams. The Rams drafted him 10th overall in 2015. This was because Todd was a first-team All-SEC player at Georgia.

Gurley immediately became an NFL star running back. Todd was voted NFL OROY (Offensive Rookie of the Year). Gurley rushed for 1,106 yards with 10 touchdowns as a rookie. Todd was chosen as the NFL OPOY in his sophomore season. To get this award, Todd rushed for 1,305 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Gurley’s knee injuries changed his career in 2018. He missed two regular-season games and limited playoffs. L.A released him after the 2019 season.

With the Atlanta Falcons in 2020, Gurley was not the same player as in his first few seasons. He ran for 678 yards and 7 scores in 15 games. After the season, ATL released him.

Gurley retired in 2022. He finished his NFL career with 5,406 running yards and 58 touchdowns.

Along with his athletic achievements, Gurley was noted for his charity activities. The Gurley’s Kids Foundation, created in Baltimore, Maryland, offers educational and recreational opportunities for children.

Todd Gurley is not with any NFL team. He retired from the NFL in October 2022 after a year in free agency.

Gurley was a standout Rams running back from 2015 to 2019. 2015 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year and 2017 NFL Offensive Player of the Year. In 2018, knee issues plagued him, and the Rams terminated him following the 2019 season.
