Tom Brady was born on August 3rd, 1977 in San Mateo, California. He played quarterback in the National Football League.

Brady attended Junípero Serra High School in San Mateo where he played football, basketball, and baseball. Brady became the starting quarterback his junior year in football. By Brady’s senior year, he was striving to be noticed by college coaches. He created highlight tapes and sent them to schools he considered attending. Brady completed 219 passes for 3,514 yards and 33 touchdowns in his two years as a starter and committed to the University of Michigan after considering interest from UCLA, USC, and Illinois. Brady was also drafted in the 18th round of the 1995 MLB Draft by the Montreal Expos.

Brady played four years at the University of Michigan from 1996 to 1999. He was the starter during his final two years and totaled 395 completions for more than 4,700 yards and 30 touchdowns for his career. He led his team to two Bowl Game wins against Arkansas and Alabama in the 1999 Citrus Bowl and 2000 Orange Bowl.

Tom Brady was selected in the sixth round with the 199th pick by the New England Patriots in the 2000 NFL Draft. Brady has spent all 19 seasons with the Patriots and took the starting job in his second season when Drew Bledsoe went down to injury. The Patriots have never had a losing season with Brady at the helm and have won 16 Division Titles, played in thirteen AFC Championship Games from 2001 to 2018, including eight in a row from 2011 to 2018, and won nine of them. Brady and Patriots’ head coach Bill Belichick have combined to form the most successful quarterback-head coach tandem in NFL history. Together they have won more regular-season and postseason games than any other duo in NFL History. Brady has completed more than 6,000 passes for 70,514 yards and 517 passing touchdowns. He also has 19 rushing touchdowns.

Brady is a four-time NFL passing touchdown leader, three-time passing yards leader, two- time NFL Offensive Player of the Year, and NFL Comeback Player of the Year in 2009. Brady has been named to 14 Pro Bowls, is a three-time First-Team All-Pro, and was named NFL MVP three times. He has appeared in 9 Super Bowls, the most by any quarterback, a Seven-Time Super Bowl Champion, and four-time Super Bowl MVP. He holds the record for most wins as a quarterback and is arguably the best quarterback in NFL history.
