Tom Brady’s MLB draft story

Tom Brady went to Junipero Serra High School in San Mateo, California. He was a talented baseball player who challenged future MLB star Pat Burrell.

As his graduation date approached, numerous MLB organizations indicated an interest in signing the multi-talented athlete. Brady was noted for his powerful hitting ability and composure in the catcher’s box.

Growing concerns over the team’s future in Montreal were another issue facing Malone’s team. The Expos ended up moving to Washington and changing their name to the Nationals in less than 10 years.

In the 18th round of the 1995 MLB Draft, the Expos selected Tom Brady, who had just completed a high school campaign marked by extraordinary athleticism. The future legend decided against signing a contract with the Expos after learning that he had been given the opportunity to play football at the University of Michigan.

The Montreal Expos’ general manager, Kevin Malone, took a particular interest in the young Brady. He even declared that he had the ability to go down in history as one of the best catchers.

MLB star Aaron Judge recently greeted Tom Brady during a game in December

Aaron Judge, star of the New York Yankees, attended an NFL game while sporting a Bucs jersey in support of Mike Evans from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. When they met in the tunnel prior to the game, Brady made a joke about signing the tall outfielder to an NFL deal.

Before the match, the 45-year-old Buccaneers quarterback and the 30-year-old baseball star had a brief conversation. “Would you like to be our tight end tonight?” Brady greeted Judge with a handshake and a hug before he inquired with a smile.
